ABOUT OUR DOVES

Our birds are pure white 'Rock Doves' (Homing Pigeons) that possess a natural 'Homing' Instinct. Our birds enjoy flying and have received the finest care and hours of flight training. They are specially trained to fly home after each release, however, they cannot be released in inclement weather, and all releases must take place at least two hours before sunset to allow ample time for our doves to return home safely. You still have the option of a beautiful display cage and doves for your ceremony.

The Domestic Ring Neck (pet store) Dove has no homing ability and will easily fall prey to predators, will most likely just land close by, and should never be used in a ceremonial Dove Release.
